Paulina Santos
Paulina received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Colima, Mexico. In 2013 she was selected as part of the Erasmus Mundus program, receiving her joint Masters Degree in Social Work two years later from four universities in Portugal, Norway, Sweden, and Uganda. Recently, she completed her second Masters in European Politics and Governance at the College of Europe in Belgium. Paulina is passionate about educational models that encourage critical thinking and promotes creativity and empathy. To date, she has participated in educational and social projects in 9 different countries and has worked as a teacher in Mexico, France, Uganda, and Thailand. She considers education as one of the keys to create an inclusive and equal world. Therefore, she has participated in different studies researching the impact of educational models on children, including Education for Sustainable Development which she is now implementing into the LIS curriculum schoolwide. Through her teaching, Paulina hopes to create an engaged community, motivate children to enjoy learning, and encourage them to work together to achieve their goals.
