Lamai International School

About LIS

Lamai International School has recently opened its doors to the children of Koh Samui and is delighted to provide students the highest level of education in a bright and flourishing new environment. LIS has classes running from Foundation to Year 9 and has implemented a blended Cambridge and UK National Curriculum that is skillfully delivered by our qualified teachers.

Our enthusiastic staff and unified student body make Lamai International School a remarkable place to learn, and I couldn’t be more proud to lead this team as we continue to grow. I would like to express my gratitude towards your interest in LIS, and I kindly invite you to visit our school or contact me directly to learn even more about what our school has to offer. I look forward to meeting new prospective parents and students and introducing you to our happy family here at Lamai International School.

Vision:
To provide a safe and nurturing environment, with a core curriculum that promotes academic excellence while creating an atmosphere of cooperation, with respect for individual differences and community values.

Mission

Our mission is to foster the potential of every student to thrive as a global citizen by providing a challenging learning environment that encourages high expectations for success through development-appropriate instruction that accounts for individual differences and learning styles. We strive to create a community our students are proud to be a part of; where they feel encouraged to meet academic challenges with openness, enthusiasm, and a willingness to solve problems.
